A change for the 2009-2010 school year will be how we utilize Orientation sessions.  This year we will focus on two areas:

·         Orientation regarding special education including answering questions and understanding the system; and

·         Navigating your child’s assessment reports so you fully understand what they say or how your district uses this information.

 You may access these services via two ways:

·         Attend an Orientation Session per the schedule below.  The first hour is for Orientation and the second hour is for navigation of assessment reports.

·         Request on individual Navigation Session on a scheduled time (see below).  Criteria for a scheduled appointment include the following:

§         You first have talked to your districts Program Specialist and/or Special Education Director.

§         You are willing to share your assessment reports with our team members.

(Bring copies of your recent assessment reports and IEP)
